TASK: member books

The Problem: HOOPP was in the midst of their rebrand and their member books were in a tough spot. Things just weren't working. They asked me to take a look. The new voice and logo were clear and clean. I wanted to come up with a design that was friendly and simple. One that was visually interesting considering how text heavy it was inside.


The Solve: The columns and colour blocking help break up the text lines and keep it feeling lighter than it is. A new image library was created because their audience is so wide spread that their material had to be accessible to all ages and inclusive of all races. Altogether the design was used in 7 books and, because of the success of the design, influenced the digital marketing side as well. Silk paper was chosen for increased image quality and lower reflection for readability.
